Creativity, writing, and music

Before I consciously remember, I was involved in music. Nowadays, I can create short tunes from time to time, maybe once every few months. Some people say that the creativity involved in writing music is special compared to writing text. I say no. If the average person was involved in listening to music and listening to a variety of music and consciously choosing and being aware of the music they listen to as much as they talked or wrote in text, they would probably create as much music as people create text on the internet. Soon, there will be AI music as good as the average top 40 hit. Also, as more people come out of poverty, there will be more people who listen to music all day, and they themselves will be able to write short tunes from time to time, and maybe more. I’m not going to write Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (or was it tenth?) I’m not Beethoven, and maybe if Beethoven were born today, he’d be someone like Max Martin or Jack Antonoff. There’s a lot of good music out there that has zero views or plays, too.
